Rosemary Hydrosol Distilled at Our Apothecary

As orders came in over the last two weeks for Rosemary hydrosol, I realized there was no time like the present to get out and forage for it growing wild along an abandon train track I had sussed out last year. I wanted to wait to distill it until January because it’s this time of year that rosemary shows off her amethyst jewels. The oil always fascinated me when it came to the antique rosemary flowers essential oil in my collection. I wondered why the flowers were the distillation focus. In distilling primarily flowers, I understand now why it was a common essential oil. This hydrosol is a sweeter, less camphorous extract than what I’ve been offering so it will now be in both shops. Those softer sweet notes also have me thinking it’s time to produce Hungary Water. 

Shelf life: approimately 6 months. Refrigerate to prolong freshness.

Packaged in 3.3oz/100 ml tamper proof refillable glass bottles.
