Carrot Seed CO2 Oil

CO2 extractions are a clean, fast, heatless way to extract botanicals and while it seems redundant to add another carrot seed oil, the scent profile of Carrot CO2 is so remarkable, I felt it belonged in the apothecary. Both the essential oil and CO2 are effective in skin care, supporting treatment of Eczema, Psoriasis, dermatitis, rashes, scars and mature skin but my favorite part of this oil is the scent it imparts. I find it even more gentleCarrot Seed CO2 has a surprisingly fruity profile with creamy apricot notes and much less of the earthiness of the essential oil. It is viscous as well, adding body to a blend. Carrot CO2 complements Frankincense essential oil in particular, melding scents of earth, apricots, pine, lemon and wood in an almost spiritual union. It is definitely an oil to include in the perfumer’s organ.

Suggested uses: Blends with Cedarwood, Frankincense, Geranium, Citrus, Cypress and Cassie essential oil. Can be added to Jojoba, Apple Seed or other light carrier oils for acne treatments.
