Every gorgeous aspect of Frangipani reveals itself as a true queen. I’ve worked with Frangipani absolute for a long time, the narcotic stuff at least since 2006. I’ve experienced the oil unfold into breathtaking scent with age, and transform my Vegan C Cream formulations into something of mythical unicorns on skin. Last year, I planted a Plumeria in our garden apothecary. The tree blossomed all summer as if to compete with our pink and blue water Lillies, never hesitating to share its rich, spicy scent.
When flowers are processed into an absolute, the plant or flower wax is left behind and lucky for end users, essential oil molecules remain, enough so that the floral can be experienced in its wax. Frangipani wax has a sweet, spicy scent that carries beautifully in any DIY project one has in mind, be it soap making, face creams and lotions, lip gloss or perfume solids. This year, as we grow a space for our place in the aromatic seller arena, small producers are finding us through our photos and the dedications I write about the aromatics. I’m grateful because synergy is truly taking place and aromatics are making their way to loving hands in our apothecary. Our new supply of Frangipani is semi soft, amazingly sweet and fragrant floral wax that brought me to tears when it first arrived. It is farm fresh and direct from our wonderful producers and I’m grateful they thought enough of my work to give us their best.
Suggested uses: Frangipani floral wax requires a bath to work with in a variety of formations. It takes very little to add scent and viscosity to a product. Can be added in soap making, creams, lotions, lip gloss, salves, balms and perfume solids. As it is a pure plant wax, Frangipani floral wax is ideal to add in Vegan skincare and other DIY formulations.
