Cinnamon wax is a sparkly bit of plant wax magic that I can’t live without as a solid perfumer maker. It adds so much rich chai vibe to a composition that I’m not sure I knew aromatic expansiveness of perfume ingredients before its arrival. Cinnamon is one of those volatiles I feel belongs in perfume but quickly becomes an unwanted visitor by overstaying its welcome, not unlike birch tar or another pungent material. This plant wax is that balancing spicy note that melts easily for solid perfumes and tinctures in alcohol to create a base. Cinnamon wax is one of the many firsts of rare plant wax offerings but it certainly not the last.
