Magnolia Floral Wax

One of the great privileges I have is  that I get to smell some of the most beautiful plants and flowers this earth provides. Every evaluation is an experience but there are some stand outs. Magnolia floral wax is one that didn’t occur to me at first evaluation. It wasn’t until I did the photo shoot for it and really handled the wax, that I realized that this is the most honeyed florals I have worked with. Honey varies in profile with region and so this honey note was a very specific region that I identified with, where sweet clover out grows blades of grass. It reminds me of the first time I ate creamed honey and how it smelled from the hives my mother tended to when I was little. It’s striking how sweet the wax is; so much so that it may be the most versatile of the twenty six waxes we carry.
