This was the six ingredient holiday distillation I wanted to do for some time. Like three Christmas seasons due to the gathering raw material from the countries that grow vanilla, tonka, mace, cloves, fresh ginger and nutmeg. Obsessive yes but also like everything I endeavor to create or source, it takes time to gather the things that make it special. Gingerbread hydrosol is almost indulgent with a line up that reads like the finest panettone. With vanilla pods and clove buds from our producer in Indonesia, locally grown ginger root and whole nutmegs wrapped in their own delicate mace cloaks, it’s gingerbread cookies in a bottle that can be used to spritz the holiday air or to sweeten the body without the calories. Perfect for that last minute stocking stuffer or as a night time pillow mist for sugar plum dreams.
Shelf life: approimately 6 months. Refrigerate to prolong freshness.
