Emerald Cypress CO2 Oil

Emerald Cypress CO2 is another beautiful Cypress offering from Australia. It is thicker than most CO2’s I’ve worked with but is a friendly blender in salves and therapeutic lotions and creams. I haven’t worked with Emerald Cypress long but I find it profoundly relaxing when applied, something I’m thankful for ten months into this pandemic. The soft woody pine notes calm my spirit as well as my skin from daily mask wearing. Suggested uses of Emerald Cypress in its native land was as fencing and telegraph poles because of its resistance to termites. Earlier still, indigenous people used the wood as a torch. Modern day recommendations suggest Emerald Cypress is helpful to treat warts, virus and cold sores. It is also recommended for sore muscles and skin conditions.

Suggested uses: Blend with Rosemary, Lavender or any conifer essential oils to a skin treatment blend. A few drops can be added to cleaning vinegar and used to disinfect surfaces.
