Blue Spruce is one stiking looker of a tree. She stands out in the forest with her steel blue branches and soft round belly like a goddess of the trees. She is far from obtrusive and is instead a good all around gentle supportive of the conifer scents for respiratory and endocrine issues. Her resin is slightly minty and when I harvest the branches, I specifically look for resin to chew while foraging. I steam distill Blue spruce in small batches for about three hours on high heat and then lower heat after the first hour to draw out the distillation and obtain beautiful notes. I only use distilled water in the bottom of the still so that I can use the waste water from the still later in a bath for an adrenal supportive bath and also as a personal ritual to the tree that has provided me the rare opportunity to do my heart’s work. No string attached.

Recommended as a scented alcohol free after shave. Very effective to use on bites or bumps on skin to reduce infection and redness.
