🦃🍁🇨🇦 It feels like things are speeding up again as we dive into pumpkin spice lattes and October. I struggle this time of year because Canadian thanksgiving is in a few days. Every year, it was a special occasion that was celebrated at either my parents house or mine. I really miss my family, cooking a feast, and having some kind of mishap with the bird or a pie that didn’t turn out quite as expected. Its tough being alone in another country, particularly during holidays. To celebrate my thanksgiving, we’ll have a sale on our Etsy shop with 15% off everything starting at midnight tonight ( I see you late night shoppers🤩😉). All Canadian overs over $200 will ship free to Canada. I’ve added some new wonderful aromatics that patiently waited all summer: Gardenia, Rose, pink Lily hydrosols and incredible calamus oil as well as camel grass oil. Obviously someone had Egyptian Kyphi on the brain. And speaking of Kyphi, I was gifted some beautiful Kyphi incense and oil from a Natural Perfumery Academy alumni and member of our apothecary family, A Sense Of Wonder. Sara Josephine Clarke is a talented natural perfumer and tireless promoter of all scents in their natural form. Thank you so much Sara for allowing us to not only enjoy your wonderful work but it use it in our Camel grass shoot. I’ve also finally found the Mitti Attar of my dreams, the one I’ve been looking for since the Arizona monsoons in 2006, the one that has bottled rain. It’s a stunning distillation and I’d be lying if I didn’t admit to being a little jealous I’ve yet to distill clay like that. Happy thanksgiving 🦃🍽🍁 🇨🇦
