I don’t know about anyone else but I feel like we got through 2022 on the skinny: it was transitional, it was tough and I still don’t exactly know how we got through some days and weeks. But thanks to all the generous support from everyone I interacted with, sold to and thought of, we’re still here and I’m still doing the work that appears to be predestined for me. That is something I’m fully grateful for because this work has been decades in the making and my heart needed it to work out. This year, my focus will be about completion: wrapping up my book, “The Color Of Scent”, completing my natural perfumery course and going deeper with my distillations. I look forward to my 2023 journey and I look forward to hearing about yours. Cheers to 2023!

Pomegranate Blossom wild card distillation: a holiday treat. I wanted to start the new year in vibrance and nothing is more vibrant in the middle of winter than pomegranate blossoms. The jewel toned fruit is rich cabernet colored and has a 4000 year history but the blossoms are the point of interest for me in this distillation. I wanted to know if there was any scent to it and how it would work on skin. The blossoms were an interesting surprise. Watch the video to find out what I discovered.
